Fragment 1: March 2009
I was a student of State University of Jakarta and a member of ISAFIS (Indonesian Student Organization For International Studies/ http://www.isafis.org/) and I have been also a member of couchsurfing (www.couchsurfing.org. See this website to know more about couchsurfing) since 2008. For the first time in my life, I decided to travel alone to Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam. I attended a Model United Nation in Nanyang University, Singapore and Vietnam International Week 2009 at Saigon, Vietnam. As a single traveler, I would love to meet locals or travelers around so I posted a message in Vietnam group. This was a big trip for me, because I never went to other country before.
A member of couchsurfing from Belgium sent me an email and I replied:

Hi Efrata,
Just saw your message in the Vietnam group. I'm currently in Phnom Penh, flying to Saigon tonight. Will arrive there around 8.35pm... but I guess it's going to be too late to meet up when i booked into a hostel and such.
I'll probably be in Saigon until Friday at least as 2 friends of mine - an Australian one and a Malaysian one - will arrive as well, after that probably heading north.
While I'm there, I'm always up for meeting for some sightseeing or a drink, so if you're available and wanna meet up, give a shout !

I can meet up for tonight or friday night, I am in saigon until 9 March morning, but thursday until friday evening I will go to Vung Tau beach, so let me know if you or your friends can meet me at that timein saigon.

We had managed to meet up at couchsurfing’s dinner together with many others couchsurfer’s locals and travelers. We had a briefly conversation not more than 1 hour. My CP (Contact person that has been showed by the committee’s IW) drove me back to my host family. On the motorbike on the way back, We talked a bit how the dinner was.
Diep : The guy who come from Belgium was nice and sympathy. Did you like him?
Efrata : He is inspiring me even to travel more, He quitted his job to travel for one year around Asia. Not much people want to do it. But like him? Not at all. He is not my type. I would love to have an Indonesian boyfriend but if I would fall in love with a westerner, He has to have a certain criteria’s like brown eyes, dark hair, not pale skin which Sven doesn’t have.
Fragment 2: July 2009
I have been graduated in May 2009 and I have planned to find a fulltime job as soon as I can. I have worked as a tutor for a homeschooling community in Bogor and sometimes as a trainer/a facilitator for some outdoor activities except that I have had no activity.

I remember you, nice to know you here. One of my friends will be married tomorrow, that will be an authentic experience to you. So if you have time we can meet up and go to the wedding together.
He, a bunch of my friends and I went to the wedding together and spent the whole evening together in a Karaoke room. He and his friend invited me to go for a trip to thousand island. That’s weekend, I had no other plan and I never went there. So I decided to join J. Two days there was fun and shortly Sven and I fell in Love.

Finally I found a nice pot to put in the flowers
They are a bucket of beautiful flowers, aren’t they? This is my first time to get a bucket of flowers from my boyfriend. A bucket of flowers to remain me that we have been together for one year. This one blessing year with full support from him.
Fragment 4: A future
We are still busy creating our future and I hope God gives his blessing upon us. We never know what His plan on us or at least on me.
